The Malan wedding was the very first wedding at Gouritzvalley Wedding Venue. The bar was set high with the catering, flowers & décor. Guests arrived at the venue at 3:30 where the ceremony took place in the forest chapel. The couple were blessed with the perfect weather and only a light breeze keeping everyone cool. After the ceremony guest were guided to the deck on the front porch of the reception hall where they were served with champagne & canapés. While the bridal couple were taking their wedding picture the guests were entertained by a live band. Once the sun started to set the couple made their way back to the reception hall and the guest settled in at their tables, and the formalities for the evening were about to start.

Speeches were kept short to keep guests interested, and thereafter the main course was served with wine of choice. After which the dance floor was opened and the party was ready to begin. People danced until their feet hurt, and everyone just had a ball of a time.
